If you have a rental car<\/strong> it will be easier to get to Cala Dei\u00e0. There is a small parking lot near the cove. Please note that it can fill up quickly during high season. After parking you will have to walk along a descending path until you reach the beach. <\/p>

The Church of Sant Joan Baptista is an important landmark in the village of Dei\u00e0. It is located on top of a hill, in the center of the village, and offers stunning panoramic views <\/strong>of Dei\u00e0 and the Mediterranean Sea. <\/p>

Despite the changes it has undergone over the centuries, it still retains its historic character and is a beautiful example of traditional Mallorcan architecture<\/strong>.<\/p>

The facade is simple and austere, in line with the style of rural churches in Mallorca. The interior is equally simple, with a high altar and some religious images. However, what really makes the church stand out is its location and the views it offers.<\/strong> <\/p>

Right next to the church is the cemetery of Dei\u00e0, where artists, painters, writers and musicians who have spent a large part of their lives in Dei\u00e0 are buried, such as the English poet and novelist Robert Graves<\/strong>.<\/p>

The Robert Graves House is a place of great cultural importance in Dei\u00e0. This house was the home of the famous<\/strong> English writer and poet<\/strong> Robert Graves for almost 50 years. <\/p>

During his time in Dei\u00e0, Graves wrote some of his most important works, including “I, Claudius” and “Claudius the God”.<\/p>
\n

The house, which Graves called Ca n’Alluny, meaning “The house far from everything” in Catalan, has been converted into a museum celebrating Graves’ life and work. The museum includes the original house, a garden and an exhibition building. Visitors can see the house as it was when Graves lived there, with his studio, kitchen, bedrooms and living room, as well as exhibits on his life and work. <\/p>

The Archaeological Museum of Dei\u00e0 is a small museum located in a traditional Mallorcan house dating back to the 16th century. It was founded in 1962 by the American archaeologist William Waldren and aims to explore and present the history and prehistory of the Serra de Tramuntana region, especially around Dei\u00e0. <\/p>

The museum’s collection includes a wide variety of objects, ranging from Paleolithic and Bronze Age stone tools and utensils to Roman pottery and Islamic artifacts. Among the highlights are the remains of the “hypogeum”, ancient Bronze Age cave tombs. <\/p>

The museum is also active in archaeological research and has carried out several excavations in the region, including the Lluc Alcari site, which has revealed important findings about Mallorca’s prehistoric cultures.<\/p>
